31 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome! Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukah! Happy Kwanzaa! Happy Solstice! Whatever you celebrate, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!

This year has seen a lot of ups and downs. In April, I finally published God of Chaos, the culmination of close to a decade's worth of writing and research. The Christian Women Writers Club, which was founded by author Jen Gentry in July 2015, has become more established and our routines are set. David and I published another Story Prompts for Kids book in October, and another is due out in December. But we have also had to deal with some personal setbacks. Summer was full of not-writing because of dealing with problems with ADHD medication. We have had to learn how to calm down when overstimulated, and I have had to deal with the joys that come with later-in-life food allergies. I have also had to start processing the idea that both of my grandmothers may not be here come New Year's Day, 2018.

But now, it is Christmastime again. A time for hope as well as a time of reflection. And for us, Christmas doesn't just mean Jesus' birthday, but also two others in our little family of three. My boys (husband and son) are turning 39 and 10 during the two weeks of Winter break! To celebrate all three birthdays, we're going to do a Hobbit Birthday Party -- we read The Lord of the Rings trilogy to David as a bedtime book this year -- I will be the one giving away the gifts!

I am giving away four of my own eBooks (four of your choosing, including those I wrote with David!) as well as a hardcover copy of my latest book, God of Chaos before it becomes available to the public!  I am still putting the finishing touches on the print version now, and will get you a copy by the middle of January, a month before it is available to anyone else!

Just enter to win below! First prize is the hard copy (sorry, no international shipping). Second prize is the collection of four eBooks (gifted through Amazon). Information on the books available and synopses are all here on the website.

Once you have entered, please continue hopping by clicking on any one of the images below the Rafflecopter entry form. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Welcome to the Christian Indie Authors Blog hop! Here, have a Sweetheart conversation heart or three.

Finding, or keeping, true love is what Valentine's Day is all about in our society. But what happens when your true love is not quite so true?

Love is a many splendored thing, it is a verb, it is a lot of things. But what is it, truly? Is it controlling? Is it impatient? Is it an attitude of "it's for your own good"?

Love can make us do many strange things, believe many strange things, accept many strange things.

In Patient Love, Jasmine, desperate for love after a lonely adolescence, falls for the first man who pays her any attention. She willingly gives Philip every fiber of her being, pours out everything for him while receiving little in return.

Enter down below for a free eBook copy of Patient Love
in your choice of formats. (Print copies available here  or here.)

When you are done, simply click on the blog hop image down below to be taken back to the CIA Love Is Blog Hop site.

C.I.A. Fear Not Blog Hop Oct. 25 - 31

Courage is not the absence of fear, courage is doing what should be done in spite of fear.

When men use fear to intimidate, we can either bow down or we can overcome.

Tamara, in the My Life as a Superhero series, has to overcome fear--fear of the man who stole her family from her, fear that her new family would meet the same fate as her old one, fear of one or more of them being hurt, fear of the unknown, her fear of spiders....

Tamara finally finds the courage--despite her fear--to stand up to the man who decided to murder over a hundred people because two men who dressed like they were late for Halloween didn't come when he wanted them to.

Enter to win one print copy (or electronic copy if preferred) of Karis and Flash, the two books currently available in the My Life as a Superhero series. You may gain more entries into the contest by coming back and tweeting about the contest every day.

When you are done, click here or the blog hop image below to be taken back to the Wood Between The Worlds page of the Fear Not Blog Hop site.

So, I'm supposed to write something about myself. Well, I am a Christ-follower, first and foremost; then a wife, now of 14 years; then a mom to a very busy almost-10-year-old; and then a writer. All of that, unfortunately, means my writing sometimes gets pushed to the back burner.
