"Camp," as some of you may know is more laid-back and less structured. For Camp this year, I am going to be finishing a couple of projects that are not yet done. When the WIPJoy prompt asks about a certain character or plot point, I'll just focus on whatever it is I am working on.
For my first project, I am going to finish Unfaithful (the subject of my last WIPJoy). This project will, hopefully end up being a full-length crime suspense novel (or a long novella). When I publish, it will be under the name Sarah Farabee, one of my ancestors.
My second project is finishing up Prodigal, my retelling of Jesus' Prodigal Son story, which I worked on during November's NaNoWriMo last year. Andrew has been stuck evading the Rio mafia and local poachers along the river since December 1, and it's time to bring him home. This will probably also be published under Great-great-grandma Sarah's name.
If I have time/words left over after those two books are finished, I will probably pick up The Dragonrider's Wife again and get that finished. TDW is my first attempt at a high-ish fantasy, and is a damsel-in-distress, girl-in-a-tower-quest told from the girl's point of view.
All told, I will have a word count goal of 150,000 words (including words already written), but I may need to raise that if I am able to get to TDW in time.
