Summer Reading Blog Hop!

Summer reading is the best. When you're in school, it means reading books and stories you--rather than a teacher or professor--choose. When you're an adult, sometimes it means having time to read, period. Summer reading, like summer movies, are usually unabashed, unapologetic fluff. Summer reading is usually the "popcorn flick" of books—something that doesn't necessarily have a message to take away, is just a fun ride. And that's okay.

With the advent of affordable and user-friendly tablets and ereaders, and with ebooks now outselling physical books on Amazon, your summer reading can go with you where ever you like. You can let the kids (or younger siblings) play on the beach while you are fighting crime in Kingston in Karis and Flash, or solving grizzly murders or falling in love one summer on the beach.

For the 2013 Summer Splash Blog Hop, I have some very special offers if you want to pick up some summer beach reading! For the four days of the blog hop, all of my books are either on sale or free for download onto Kindle! What Difference Does Seven Days Make?  and Flash are both free July 26 to 29 and Karis is only 99 cents!

In addition to not just one but two free books for everyone who visits, enter to win the grand prize below! My new book, Patient Love is coming out in all ebook formats and paperback on September 9!

In the quiet seaside town of Astoria, Oregon, 22-year-old Jasmine Williams is trying to put her life back together after her fiancé dumps her five days before their wedding.

As she begins spending the first time away from Philip Saxon in years, however, Jasmine starts to realize how much of her life he had insisted on controlling—everything from her hairstyle to her thoughts on her church’s worship style and even her thoughts about God's love for her.

Just as she begins to regain her identity, Philip again tries to reassert his authority. Unsure of what to do next, Jasmine nearly loses hope and allows Philip back into her life, until she reunites with the best friend she hasn't seen in years.

Every time you check the "Tweet about the Giveaway" option, you will be entered to win the Kindle Fire HD and Amazon gift cards. When you have done as many or as few raffle options as you like (you can come back and tweet every day), just click here to be taken back to the blog hop page.

So, I'm supposed to write something about myself. Well, I am a Christ-follower, first and foremost; then a wife, now of 14 years; then a mom to a very busy almost-10-year-old; and then a writer. All of that, unfortunately, means my writing sometimes gets pushed to the back burner.
