C.I.A. "Love Is" Blog Hop (Feb. 10 - 14)

Welcome to the Christian Indie Authors Blog hop! Here, have a Sweetheart conversation heart or three.

Finding, or keeping, true love is what Valentine's Day is all about in our society. But what happens when your true love is not quite so true?

Love is a many splendored thing, it is a verb, it is a lot of things. But what is it, truly? Is it controlling? Is it impatient? Is it an attitude of "it's for your own good"?

Love can make us do many strange things, believe many strange things, accept many strange things.

In Patient Love, Jasmine, desperate for love after a lonely adolescence, falls for the first man who pays her any attention. She willingly gives Philip every fiber of her being, pours out everything for him while receiving little in return.

What a great blog and such a timely message about patient love. Wish I had known this when I was younger!

So, I'm supposed to write something about myself. Well, I am a Christ-follower, first and foremost; then a wife, now of 14 years; then a mom to a very busy almost-10-year-old; and then a writer. All of that, unfortunately, means my writing sometimes gets pushed to the back burner.
